Author: Robert Louis Stevenson
Robert Louis Stevenson, (1850 -1894) was born in Edinburgh, the son of an engineer to the Board of Northern Lighthouses. He entered Edinburgh University in 1867 to study engineering but changed to law and was admitted as an advocate in 1875.
