Author: Rudyard Kipling
Rudyard Kipling was born in Bombay, where his father taught at a school of art. In 1871 Kipling and his sister were sent to Southsea school and the United Services College in England. Moving back to India in 1882, he began his early career as a journalist. In 1907 he become the first English writer to receive the Nobel Prize for literature.
