Born into a show-business family, Lara made her first television appearance at the age of four. However, Lara first shot to prominence when she was selected from over 4000 UK actresses to go to Atlanta for CBS & Robert Halmi Jnr's international search for an actress to play the role of "Scarlett" in the television miniseries sequel to "Gone With The Wind".
Lara's most recent credits can all be found within the Film arena, having just completed three feature films, virtually back to back. Other previous credits include Classical Theatre, various roles in "Serial Killers" and "Agony" for Television, working as a Presenter, numerous Voice-overs, Commercials, Corporate Videos and of course, more films!
Lara is also a very talented artist (painting/graphic design) and has also written numerous poems, short stories, screenplays and a stage musical. She is also a composer and songwriter, co-composing the music for Omar Madha's short film "Playground Rules" which was shown on Channel 4 and in cinemas nationwide with "Crimson Tide". She also co-wrote a fully orchestrated classical piece for the Olympic Horse Dressage entitled "Pour L'?me de Legrini".
