Stan Pretty has performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company in London's West End and throughout the UK and abroad in repertory and on tour. He is co-founder of a small-scale theatre company specialising in Shakespeare, and co-author and performer of three of the company's plays; his directorial work includes a large community project on the Lollard Martyrs. As a prolific voice artist, he has been a story-reader on BBC Radio, was submitted for an AWGIE award for his reading of Aboriginal Stories for Ivory Shell, and has recorded numerous commentaries for film and television documentaries.
